Exercise Can Spice Up Your Sex Life
Romance Blooms After A Trip To The Gym
If you want to put a little more romance in your life, try hanging out in the gym more. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) cites recent studies that they say show that sexual function improves with regular exercise. ACE reports that exercise affects both the body and the libido. While exercise can build endurance and cardiovascular function, it can also enhance blood flow. However, the trick is not to overdo it. Over training can decrease testosterone and lessen sexual desire.
Here are some studies that back up ACE's assertions:
The Electronic Journal of Human Sexuality reported that those who take the trouble to regularly exercise develop greater self esteem and think of themselves as sexier.
The Journal of the American Medical Association reported that the University of Naples diet and exercise improved erectile dysfunction in overweight men. It also reported that exercise promotes improved circulation and therefore increases sexual potency.
The Annals of Internal Medicine reported that exercise can extend the number of years men can be sexually active, and reduce incidences of impotence.
