Although Cristian tells Natalie he'd grant her a divorce, he refuses to sign the documents to finalize it. As New Year's is about to ring in, John, Evangeline, Cristian and Natalie all arrive at Angel Square. When the clock strikes midnight, David plants a kiss on Dorian then makes a hasty retreat, and Clint kisses Niki, which causes Viki to "show up." Michael surprises Spencer with the news that Kevin's condition could leave him unable to have children. Rex is devastated when he eavesdrops on Adriana telling Dorian that he isn't the man for her but misses it when she admits she wants to be with him anyway. Antonio uncovers Nash's big secret ‹ someone has a restraining order against him! Bo tells John exactly what he has to do. Michael sees the agony John is going through and offers him a shoulder. Later, Todd's trial begins with opening statements from Evangeline and Hugh. Blair realizes something is missing in her life and feels lost and alone. Rex and Adriana try but fail to get their relationship back on track. Later, Adriana makes a decision about her future with Duke.
THIS WEEK: Cristian and John battle it out in the gym. A heartbroken Adriana and Rex worry that their relationship is beyond repair.
ALL MY CHILDREN
Krystal confronts Adam with her belief that he was responsible for tranquilizing her and placing her inside the giant prop cake. Janet is again up to no good and feels triumphant that she's actually pulling off her wild schemes. A fired up JR assures Adam that they'll get both Babe and Krystal out of their lives in good time. Tad and Di bump into each other while they're both rifling through files in Greg's office. Their bickering halts when they come across a videotape of Erica during her modeling career and, they end up in a passionate kiss. As Ryan and Julia go skinny dipping in the ocean, Simone accepts Ethan's marriage proposal. After waking from a nightmare about Greg, Erica sees an article that suggests she's back on the bottle. Tad approaches Greg and asks about the childhood photos he was hiding of Erica and about the file he found filled with info about the Martin family. Josh arranges for Erica to be trapped inside a warehouse so he can conduct the on-camera celebrity interview himself. Kendall rejects JR's flirtation and then shocks him with the news that she has fallen in love with Zach.
THIS WEEK: Janet pays Erica a visit while she's being held captive in the warehouse. Kendall tries to emotionally push away Zach.
GENERAL HOSPITAL
Sam and Carly worry that if Jason follows Sonny's orders and kills Manny, Jason will somehow end up behind bars. They, in fact, are right because Durant sets a trap to catch Jason in the act, then arrests Ric and Alexis when they realize what Durant is up to. Jason later walks into Manny's roomŠ and Durant's trap! Courtney finds out that Nikolas was spending time with Emily, which leads to a gigantic argument. Emily advises Nikolas to talk it out with Courtney, who, unbeknownst to him, is being comforted by an understanding Jax. Emily talks with Liz about her Sonny fantasizes and Liz strongly suggests she think twice about becoming a part of Sonny's life. Jason realizes he walked into a trap and promptly heads out the door, leaving Manny untouched. Carly later interrupts a romantic moment for Jason and Sam by demanding he stop Sonny and Emily's date. Meanwhile, Sonny charms a looped Emily over dinner, which results in her revealing that she's in love with him! When Emily tries to backpedal from her declaration of love, Sonny gently explains he only thinks of her as a good friend. After Emily leaves, Sonny explains to Jason what happened and admits he really does have feelings for her. Emily sees Michael fall into the frozen river and jumps in to save him.
THIS WEEK: Sonny and Emily lean into a kiss. Luke has a painfully honest heart-to-heart talk with Lulu about Laura.
DAYS OF OUR LIVES
Alex is still in jail but is desperate to make sure that Marlena is safe. John insists that Alex be put in solitary, but during the transfer, he manages to escape! John can't let him get to Marlena. Lexie examines baby Claire. She doesn't look good, but Belle refuses to take her off of life support. Will her prayers be answered. Chelsea hits something in the road. Hope is upset over Claire and reaches out to Zack. Alex escapes from jail and rushes to the penthouse. Mimi is delighted by Shawn's proposal! Belle refuses to take Claire off life support. John shoots Alex! Hope makes a heartbreaking discovery. Max tows Bo's car to his garage for repairs. Alex is in critical condition and rushed to the hospital. Victor insists that Shawn be told about Claire's paternity. Mimi tells Bonnie that she and Shawn are engaged! Alex is rushed into surgery. Marlena isn't convinced that Alex's intentions are evil. Sami continues to encourage Carrie and Austin to be together. Lucas knows the end is near for Carrie and Austin. Lexie has news for Bo and Hope. Lois stalks Marlena while Alex remains comatose. Marlena tells Belle not to give up hope. Jennifer is overcome by her conflicting feelings for Frankie.

Alistair is horrified when the mystery woman reveals herself to him. He runs through the mansion as she pursues, wielding a knife. Inside their Christmas ornament prison, Mrs. Wallace and Norma plot revenge on Tabitha. During a storm, they are stuck by lightening and freed. Once released, the gleefully rush off in search of Tabby. Still trapped in the mansion due to the storm, the partygoers rejoice too soon over Alistair's murder. Realizing that Alistair is still alive, Fancy convinces Dr. Eve help revive him. Fancy searches the mansion for medical equipment to save her Grampy. Sam vows to catch Alistair's attacker. Sam announces that all the party guests are suspects in Al's attempted murder. Eve works feverishly to save Alistair's life. As Noah looks on, he remembers Alistair threatening to tell Fancy a secret about one of Noah's former girlfriends. At Eve's urging, Noah and Julian agree to help create a makeshift defibrillator to save Alistair. Liz recalls Alistair threatening to reveal one of her secrets to Eve. Gwen and Rebecca share a flashback to Alistair telling them he would expose their tabloid secret. Theresa flashes back to Alistair telling her his plans to corrupt Little Ethan. Ethan remembers that Alistair knew Ethan would wake up from the coma, and had the test results changed to trick everyone.
THIS WEEK: Simone confronts Rae about Alistair's involvement in their tryst. Theresa continues to pester Ethan about the love she knows they share.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
Brooke accuses Taylor of cheating on Ridge. Taylor claims that Hector was just trying to be a friend. Meanwhile, Hector confesses to Brooke that he loves Taylor. Brooke becomes upset and storms off. Taylor makes Hector leave. Later, Taylor asks Brooke not to tell Ridge, that she will tell him herself. Brooke is extremely upset by the entire situation. Brooke tries to confront Taylor about her relationship with Hector, but Taylor defends that she has been faithful to Ridge. Felicia and Dante visit one another and share some champagne. Felicia tells Dante that she led a good life and Dante tries to probe her for more information about her life. Taylor confides in Stephanie about Hector, and what happened on New Year's Eve. Stephanie is extremely shocked. Thorne, Darla, and Sally are interviewing candidates to become the new receptionist at Forrester. They interview three people, and none of them are right for the job. Thorne then offers the job to Sally. Brooke asks Nick what she should do about Taylor. Nick says that he will support her decision, and she decides to tell Ridge about Hector, if Taylor does not. Sally accepts the job and thanks Thorne for offer. She is extremely grateful for all of his help.
THIS WEEK: Darla keeps encouraging Hector to pursue Taylor. Stephanie tells Brooke to keep her mouth shut about Taylor and Hector.
AS THE WORLD TURNS
Emily suddenly realizes what she has done and is horrified that she has shot Paul. She runs to him and cradles his head in her hands but when he goes limp in her arms, she pulls herself together and rolls his body over the side of the bluff She then spots his cell phone which had fallen out of his pocket and uses it to call herself to help establish an alibi. After throwing the phone over the bluff as well, she sees blood on her scarf and stuffs it into her pocket. Later, she shows up at the hospital in tears and tells Susan that Paul called her to say the wedding was off. Meg begs Dusty to forgive her for what she did to Jennifer. She tells him that everything she did was done to hold on to him but, disgusted, Dusty sends her away. Meg drives through the sleet with tears in her eyes and the car veers out of control, crashing on the roadside. She comes to, gets out of the car and hears a moan. Thinking she might have hit someone, she wanders over to the bluff when suddenly, a bloody and battered Paul appears from over the side of the cliff! Meg brings him to an abandoned cabin in the woods. She wants to call the cops and get an ambulance but he refuses, determined to keep his circumstances a secret. Jennifer truly believes that she and Dusty are free to be together. They finally make love and talk happily of their new family. Keith shocks Lily by announcing that he's taken a job in L.A., and he expects her to leave with him in the morning.
THIS WEEK: Carly bristles. Holden gives up on Lily.
GULDING LIGHT
Dinah and Mallet are about to hit the sheets when Mallet gets a call - Alan Spauldiag has been released, and Gus is no longer in the cell Mallet locked him up in. Mallet finds Harley and lets her know what's going on, just as Dinah arrives, offering to be of help. Buzz admits to Harley that he's afraid Gus might do something criminal to protect her, which leads Harley to ask Mallet for a favor - if he finds out Gus broke the law, would Mallet be willing to look the other way? Mallet agrees, but on the understanding that he wouldn't do it for Gus, he would do it for Harley. Harley doesn't like his terms, but Mallet tells her it's a take-it-or-leave-it kind of deal. Filling in for Harley at Spaulding, Alan Michael is feeling on top of the world. Still, it doesn't help him feel any better about his brush-off of Marina on New Year's Eve, and he attempts to make amends with a bouquet of flowers and a vow to make her we that, he is truly sorry for hurting her. Jonathan is forced to take an anger-management class as a condition of his bail, and he grudgingly attends, though it isn't long before his mind is filled with images of Tammy and Sandy, taunting that Jonathan will hurt the woman he loves the same way he's hurt everyone else in his life. Reva and Josh forge a tentative connection when he guesses that the reason for her passionate defense of Jonathan and Tammy is because Reva sees herself and Josh in the young, star-crossed couple.
THIS WEEK: Harley tries to avoid Mallet. Reva and Josh take another step forward.
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS
Ashley insists that John not be told about Tom's death or her arrest. Ashley asks Brad to help explain her situation to Abby. When John finally regains consciousness, he has no recollection of his car accident or what led up to it. Ashley is moved when Victor offers his support. Neil gives Devon a letter from Lily to give to Daniel, breaking off their relationship, explaining that she doesn't want to be Daniel's girlfriend any more. Devon reluctantly agrees to give the letter to Daniel. Yolanda tells Devon that she has a new job at Newman Enterprises. Devon explains to Yolanda that he is caught in between the Winters and Lily because he has been asked to deliver two letters to Daniel: one from Lily breaking up with him, and one explaining that her parents forced her to write the other letter. Victor tells Brad that he hopes he will continue to support Ashley even though he is engaged to Victoria. J.T. returns home to the loft to find Mac and Kevin sleeping in each other's arms on the couch. J.T. and Mac argue about J.T. bailing out on Mac's special New Year's Eve dinner. Later, Mac reveals to Kevin that it may have been a bad idea for her to move in with J.T., raising Kevin's hopes about the possibility of a relationship with Mac.
THIS WEEK: Michael and Scott struggle with the idea of letting Lauren go. Nick returns home to find Sharon wearing lingerie and they make love.
