This delectable version of Ford’s Focus debuted this month., and there’s a lot to like.
Under the hood of this Focus ST is a 2.5-liter, five-cylinder engine that comes with four valves per cylinder and a turbocharger. It develops 225 horsepower at 6,100 rpm.
But the sick stuff doesn’t stop there.
On board are 18-inch alloy wheels, a three-spoke leather-clad steering wheel, special ST body styling and a large rear spoiler . Inside are Recaro sports seats, black headliner, “submarine'’’ lighting, a six-speed close-ratio gearbox, and unique additional instrument pod containing a turbo boost pressure gauge, and oil temperature and pressure dials, all come as standard.
It’s available in Performance Blue, Panther Black, Colorado Red, Sea Grey and an eye-catching Electric Orange.
The spirit of this Focus is the World Rally Championship models from years past, including the Ford Escort XR3 and the RS Turbo.
Ford says that this model is the most powerful Focus ever offered from the factory.

Well, for now, you must be living in England and have about $30,000.
Let’s hope that Ford execs in Detroit find the cojones to bring this bad boy stateside.
