LOOK WHAT I FOUND ON EBAY!
![]()
By Terry Jackson, Men.com Automotive Editor
Don’t you really want to own a hot rod at some point in your life? And shouldn’t it look like a hot rod – the vintage 1930s look with a flame paint job?
Then this eBaymotors listing could be what you’re looking for.
The body is a steel reinforced fiberglass version of the classic 1932 Ford 3 Window Coupe. Under the hood is a 350-cubic-inch Chevrolet V8 with a four-barrel carburetor connected to a GM 350 turbohydromatic transmission.
The lister says there’s a custom frame underneath it all. At the rear is a dropout-style Ford triangulated chromed four bar style with coil -over shocks. At the front is a drilled and chromed dropped I-Beam axle with custom drilled spindles. Front brakes appear to be So-Cal polished finned drums but in fact hide Wilwood disc brakes.
Inside is a tuck-and-roll interior with power windows made to look like period-correct window cranks.
The starting bid was $25,000 and the person listing the car says the reserve is set well below the estimated $85,000 replacement cost.
Now all you’ll need is a Fonzie leather jacket.
