Look what I found on Ebay!

By Terry Jackson, Men.com Automotive Editor
If you watched the Barrett-Jackson collector car auction on Speed this month – or were fortunate enough to actually be in Scottsdale, Ariz., for the show – there were some stunning prices paid for some cars.
Among the most surprising was the $1.2 million paid for a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible equipped with the ultra high-performance LS6 454-cubic-inch V8. Admittedly that particular car has some phenomenal drag racing history and was restored to better-than-new condition, but a million bucks for a Chevelle?
Well, on eBay one seller decided that his LS6 Chevelle SS LS6 – minus the historic drag racing history – must be worth at least $799,999. That’s his Buy It Now price for a car he’s selling “for a client.’’
It’s advertised as having seen only three miles of use since a complete restoration, but the photos weren’t terribly revealing.
But if you think that $1 million is the standard for an LS6 convertible, then maybe this is a bargain.
